Whenever I try to blog about a given wedding, my impulse is to describe it exclusively in extremes. Every wedding, especially in the few days of the immediate and inevitable afterglow, feels like the best wedding we’ve ever been to with the most intimate ceremony and most loving couple.
But even a month later, I can sincerely say that Eric and Lindsey’s wedding is still the most personalized wedding I’ve ever attended . They, along with their friends and family, either handmade or hand-picked every element of their wedding and reception. Lindsey grew flowers. Eric brewed beer. Lindsey had her dress customized. Because Eric founded Aquanaut Brewing Co., the reception venue, and works there as the master brewer, the couple was to visualize and create an atmosphere that was uniquely theirs. Both Lindsey and Eric are amazing artists and their wedding day was a beautiful expression of their love and creativity.
